How it works
From finished idea to your Digital Business.
We do the groundwork. You take it forward.
Every AssetForge business starts with the big decisions already made — the concept, name, brand, domain and working platform. Choose the business that fits you, take ownership, and start building the audience, relationships and momentum that give it value.
What you are buying
A Digital Business that already exists
Before a Digital Business appears in the AssetForge catalogue, the important founding decisions have already been made. You are not buying a template and then deciding what to turn it into. You choose a Digital Business that already exists.
- A proven niche
- A defined business model
- A business name
- A registered domain
- A brand identity
- A working application
- A clear purpose
- A route to market
- A Growth Blueprint
- Documentation
AssetForge removes much of the technical work, uncertainty and decision-making that normally stands between an idea and launch. You take ownership from there — building the listings, relationships, audience, reputation and momentum that create value over time.
Ownership
Build Once. Own Forever.
AssetForge does not license your Digital Business. There are no recurring AssetForge platform fees, no proprietary hosting, and no requirement to keep working with us.
Once the sale and handover are complete, the business asset is yours. That includes the transferable assets that come with it — typically the domain, source code, brand assets, logo, documentation, Growth Blueprint and relevant application infrastructure.
You control the accounts and assets needed to operate the business. Continue with AssetForge, work with another developer, or take it forward yourself — the choice is yours.
One business. One owner.
Every Digital Business on AssetForge is a specific business asset, created for a single owner. You're not buying a copy of a generic template — you're buying that business.
Once it's sold and transferred, it's gone from the AssetForge catalogue. The name, domain, brand and business belong to its new owner.
Purchase and handover
From catalogue to ownership
The path is deliberate and manual. That is intentional: you should understand what you are buying before you buy it.
- 01
Choose your Digital Business
Browse the AssetForge catalogue and find the business you want to take forward. The concept, name, brand, domain and platform are already in place — you choose where you want to build value.
- 02
Start a conversation
Send us an enquiry and we'll talk you through the business, what's included, how ownership works and what happens next. It's also your opportunity to ask any questions before making a decision.
- 03
Purchase the business
When you're ready to proceed, we'll arrange payment and begin the handover. The price shown on each Digital Business is the price for that business asset.
- 04
Set up your accounts
We'll guide you through creating any accounts needed to operate the business in your own name. This ensures the important services behind your business are under your control.
- 05
We transfer the assets
We transfer the domain, brand assets, application and other agreed business assets into your control, along with the documentation and Growth Blueprint for your Digital Business.
- 06
We get you live
AssetForge handles the technical setup needed to get your business running in its new home, including deployment, domain configuration and final checks where applicable.
- 07
It's yours. Start building.
Handover complete. You now have a Digital Business ready to take forward. From here, the focus shifts to building the listings, audience, relationships and momentum that create value inside it.
Your business. Your accounts.
The name and domain are already part of the Digital Business you choose. There's no need to find a domain or create a new identity after purchase — those decisions have already been made.
During handover, the domain and relevant services are transferred or configured under accounts you control. We'll guide you through the setup and take care of the technical work needed to move the business into your hands.
Once handover is complete, you're responsible for the normal running costs of your business, such as domain renewal, hosting and any other third-party services it uses. These are paid directly to those providers, not to AssetForge.
After launch
The AssetForge Growth Path
The website going live is the beginning of your work, not the end. Every AssetForge Digital Business includes a Growth Blueprint built around six stages.
Stage 1
Launch
Put the business into the world.
Your Digital Business is transferred, configured and ready to operate. You begin with the foundation already built — not an idea, a blank project or a list of decisions still to make.
Stage 2
Seed
Give people a reason to visit.
Start building the supply side of the business with the listings, sellers, services or other content your audience came to find. Your Growth Blueprint gives you a practical starting strategy for your particular business.
Stage 3
Build demand
Bring the right people to it.
With something worth discovering now in place, start attracting the audience it was built for. Your Growth Blueprint identifies practical channels and starting points suited to the business and its market.
Stage 4
Build momentum
Look for signs that it's working.
Early progress isn't measured by revenue alone. Traffic, listings, enquiries, returning visitors, search visibility and growing participation can all show that the business is gaining traction. Your Growth Blueprint identifies the signals worth watching.
Stage 5
Monetise
Turn growing value into revenue.
As the business develops, you'll be in a better position to decide where its commercial value lies and how to monetise it. Different businesses need different models, so AssetForge doesn't force a payment system or revenue strategy onto them from day one.
Stage 6
Grow
Build on what works.
Use what you've learned to decide what comes next. Invest further in the channels, features and revenue streams that are creating value, and let the needs of the real operating business shape its next stage.
Build the value first. Monetise it second.
A new business needs something valuable before it needs a payment system. The early focus is on making the business useful — building its supply, attracting the right audience and creating momentum.
As that happens, the right way to monetise becomes clearer. A directory might charge for featured listings, a marketplace might take commission, while another business could generate revenue through leads, memberships or advertising.
That's why AssetForge doesn't force a revenue model onto a business before it has started to grow. Build the value first, learn where that value exists, then introduce the monetisation model that makes sense.
The Growth Blueprint
Every AssetForge Digital Business includes a Growth Blueprint specific to that business. It provides direction. You provide the execution.
Supply
How to start filling the business with the listings, sellers, services or opportunities people came to find.
Demand
How to start attracting the right audience through channels suited to the business and its market.
Momentum
Which early signals are worth watching to understand whether the business is gaining traction.
Monetisation
Which revenue models may make sense once the business has started creating real value.
Built for ownership
Some things should still belong to you.
More and more of the digital world is built around renting access. Monthly subscriptions, platform fees and systems designed to keep you dependent on the company behind them. AssetForge takes a different approach.
When you buy a Digital Business, we're building towards independence, not dependency. Your domain, your accounts, your business — with no recurring AssetForge platform fee and no requirement to keep working with us.
Come back to AssetForge when you need help, work with another developer, or take the business forward yourself. We want you to stay because we're useful — not because we've made it difficult to leave.
